Forestkind was founded by an entrepreneur from the Illukkumbura family: someone who spent years building brands far beyond these shores, then turned that expertise toward home. We'll let the work introduce itself.
ForestKind exists because the products young Sri Lankans were reaching for: for first breakouts, for monsoon frizz, for sun on the way to school. They were too harsh, too expensive, or too imported to feel like theirs. We wanted a line that respected teen and twenty-something skin without talking down to it. That sat properly on Sri Lankan skin tones. That listed every ingredient on the bottle, in all three languages, the first time around.
Twelve products in, that's still the brief.

Plants first
Every formula is built around a plant that does most of the work: aloe, sea buckthorn, jojoba, shea, cocoa, coconut, avocado.
Short labels
If we wouldn't read the ingredient list, we wouldn't sell it. Everything is on the bottle. Nothing hidden behind "fragrance".

Formulated, blended, and bottled in Sri Lanka. Sold in Sinhala, Tamil, and English. Priced for the people who actually live here.
Vegan, by default
No animal-derived ingredients. No animal testing. We didn't want a "cruelty-free range", we wanted a brand.
Small line, on purpose
Twelve products, made well, restocked reliably. We'd rather be the brand you finish the bottle of.
Honest claims
"Helps", "supports", "feels", not "fixes" or "transforms". We say what the formula does and let your routine do the rest.

Every Forestkind formula is developed to international standards and then tested against Sri Lankan reality; humidity, hard water, sun, salt. The chemistry comes from the same benches that supply brands you already know; the brief comes from here. That combination is the whole point.
