What's actually in the bottle.

Plants do most of the work. The rest is housekeeping.

Every Forestkind formula is built around a plant ingredient that has a job to do.

Around it sit the supporting cast: emulsifiers, mild surfactants, preservatives: the things that keep a formula safe, stable, and pleasant to use. We don't pretend those don't exist. We list them all, on the bottle and here.

The hero shelf

Eight plants, doing the work.

Aloe barbadensis
Aloe vera

The calm friend. Soothes irritation, holds water in the skin, plays well with sensitive types.

Fresh Sprout · Pure Spring · Glow Shield
Hippophae rhamnoides
Sea buckthorn

The brightest orange berry on the shrub, packed with omegas and vitamin E. Restores damaged hair and tired skin.

Wild Nectar · Lush Rain · Wild Bloom
Simmondsia chinensis
Jojoba oil

Technically a wax, behaves like skin's own sebum. Softens without clogging.

Glow Nest · Wild Bloom
Cocos nucifera
Coconut oil

Local. Ubiquitous. Brilliant for hair shafts and dry body skin.

Lush Rain · Tropi Melt · Prism Shine
Theobroma cacao
Cocoa butter

Solid at room temperature, melts into skin. Locks in moisture, smells like the inside of a chocolate bar.

Glow Nest · Tropi Melt · Prism Shine
Butyrospermum parkii
Shea butter

The reliable one. Rich without being heavy. In almost everything.

The whole line
Persea gratissima
Avocado oil

Heavyweight nourishment for thirsty hair and rough body skin.

Moss Fresh · Wild Nectar · Wild Bloom
Mangifera indica
Mango seed butter

Lighter than shea, harder-working than it looks.

Wild Nectar · Wild Bloom · Tropi Melt
What we don't use

The list we're proud of.

Animal-derived ingredients

Our formulas are vegan, top to bottom.

Animal testing

Not by us, not by our manufacturers, not at any point in the chain.

Mystery "fragrance"

We use perfume, we don't pretend we don't - but we keep it light and disclose it.

Claims we can't back

No "anti-ageing miracles". No "pore-shrinking". No "instant transformations".

What we're working on

Honest about the housekeeping.

We're not a sustainability company. We're a skincare line trying to do the obvious things well, and to say where we actually are, not where it sounds good to be.

NowPET bottles you can recycle, and mono-material caps.
By 2027Refill formats across the core line.
When we canFull carbon disclosure, measured honestly, not estimated.

When we know more, this page will say so.
