Around it sit the supporting cast: emulsifiers, mild surfactants, preservatives: the things that keep a formula safe, stable, and pleasant to use. We don't pretend those don't exist. We list them all, on the bottle and here.

Aloe vera
The calm friend. Soothes irritation, holds water in the skin, plays well with sensitive types.
Sea buckthorn
The brightest orange berry on the shrub, packed with omegas and vitamin E. Restores damaged hair and tired skin.
Jojoba oil
Technically a wax, behaves like skin's own sebum. Softens without clogging.
Coconut oil
Local. Ubiquitous. Brilliant for hair shafts and dry body skin.
Cocoa butter
Solid at room temperature, melts into skin. Locks in moisture, smells like the inside of a chocolate bar.
Shea butter
The reliable one. Rich without being heavy. In almost everything.
Avocado oil
Heavyweight nourishment for thirsty hair and rough body skin.
Mango seed butter
Lighter than shea, harder-working than it looks.

We're not a sustainability company. We're a skincare line trying to do the obvious things well, and to say where we actually are, not where it sounds good to be.
